Computer Support in Mapping Survays
Hanák, Ondřej ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The report deals with creating applications for Pocket PC, designed to aid with terrain mapping process. Topic falls within the field of geographic information systems (GIS), so the text begins with an analysis of related topics such as GIS itself, processed data characteristics or global positioning systems (GPS). Available handheld platforms are discussed and based on analysis of existing commercial application, the requirements on developed program are set. Description of application architecture and some implementation details follow. The conclusion is devoted to testing functionality by mapping the real geospatial object.
Regression methods for statistical analysis of spatial data
Klimprová, Lucie ; Šerák, Petr (referee) ; Michálek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Kriging techniques are regression methods used for evaluation of continuous spatial processes. If the covariance structure of process is unknown, then it's necessary to estimate it from the data. The first part of this Master's thesis is devoted to description the kriging method and to estimate of a variogram fuction, which describes the covariance structure of considered process. The second part includes the implementation of kriging method in MATLAB for simulated and real data.
Vizualizace prostorových dat na platformě Microsoft HoloLens
Peřinka, Jan
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a spatial data display application for the Microsoft Hololens platform. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the possibilities of standardizing applications for augmented reality glasses to ensure portability of applications between devices from different manufacturers. For this purpose, a comparison of scientific works dealing with similar topics and the selection of a suitable standardized format for storing and displaying spatial data was carried out. The result is two applications, one of which allows the user to visualize and interact with data related to his/her environment and the other one allows to display complex geospatial data for any location.
The space data analysis
Burešová, Klára ; Štarha, Pavel (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of spatial data and 3D descriptors for object recognition in scenes. The aim of the thesis was to study the issues of working with 3D data and to make a study of different types of 3D descriptors. In this work, we analyzed some descriptors in terms of their ability to describe and quantify the properties of objects in three-dimensional space. Based on this analysis, we selected a suitable descriptor for object recognition in scenes and implemented it. The result of this work is a deeper understanding of 3D descriptors and their applications in spatial data analysis. Our implementation of the selected descriptor provides a basis for further research and development in object recognition in 3D scenes.
Evaluation of the data and methods of Land use, Land-use change and Forestry (LULUCF)
Langer, František ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Švec, Pavel (referee)
The hereby-submitted bachelor's thesis addresses the topic of reporting of land use under the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate change (IPCC), so-called Land Use, Land-Use Change And Forestry (LULUCF). Under LULUCF, the state and development of surface areas in the following categories are inventoried and reported: Forest Land, Cropland, Grassland, Wetlands, Settlements and Other Land. In the Czech Republic, LULUCF is reported on the basis of cadastral data. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the accuracy of cadastral data - attributes of land plots and the way of land plot - for the purposes of LULUCF reporting on the area of Petříkov cadastral territory. In-situ survey, orthophoto and the map of RM 10 layer were used for the research. As part of this work, a table was created, according to which the specific type and method of land use can be converted from cadastral data into LULUCF categories. Key words: land cover, land use, LULUCF, Petříkov, spatial data
Security of publishing spatial data on Internet
Klíčová slova: prostorová data, internet, mapový server, datová politika, webové technologie Security of publishing spatial data on the Internet Abstract The master's thesis focuses on the topics of security of publishing spatial data on the Internet. The goal of the work is to describe present ways of publishing, to analyze weaknesses from point of view of leaks and to propose measures, that would allow securing publicly accessible data against automated downloads. Readers will get explained the motivation of getting spatial data, description and...
3D data representation and visualization of complex features of traffic infrastructure
Hřebec, Tomáš ; Brůha, Lukáš (advisor) ; Laštovička, Josef (referee)
7 Abstract This bachelor thesis designs and implements the process of creating and visualizing of 3D models of complex elements of road infrastructure with focus on level crossing. The theoretical part outlines the principles of modeling, methods of collecting spatial data using the Structure from Motion method and aerial images. This thesis also introduces the basics of Blender software, which the model is created in, and how ArcGIS Pro software, in which the final models are visualized, works with 3D data. Model of a bridge is created by an add-on for Blender. This work describes how the add-on was created, how it works and how to control it. In the end, there is described how to visualize the models. Keywords: Spatial data structures, 3D GIS, 3D visualization, traffic infrastructure
Aplikace zpracovávající geografická data pro vyžití ve veřejné správě
Šlégl, Ondřej
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of web application for playgrounds in Brno. The partial analysis of similar applications in the Czech Republic is presented in the introductory part. Each phase of the application starting from the data collection to the final implementation of the application is explained in the following parts.
Pasportizace bodových objektů pomocí QGIS
Rozbořil, Tomáš
ROZBOŘIL, T. Passportization of point objects using QGIS. Master thesis. Brno 2017. Passportization of real objects is one of the basic processes in the asset register of municipal government, companies, etc. The main goal of this thesis is to create a process through which will be possible to map the point objects in the terrain, then modify these objects, and at least visualize the results through web services. For the preparation of this work are used only open-source tools and applications those were described and tested. In conclusion is mentioned best tested solution.
Proposal of methodology for Protected Landscape Area maps production
Pekařová, Kateřina ; Lysák, Jakub (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
Proposal of methodology for protected landscape area maps production Abstract The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a proposal for a methodology for creating maps of protected areas in Czech Republic. The first part of the paper is devoted to acquaintance with the basic knowledge of thematic cartography with emphasis on the basic cartographic rules in the creation of maps. The following is an evaluation of existing maps of protected areas in the Czech Republic and in the world. An overview of data sources is also given. Based on the findings from the first part, the practical part of the thesis then creates the proposal of methodology itself, which is tested on sample maps. Keywords: thematic map, nature conservation, spatial data, cartographic generalization, methodology
